A unique take on a world of magic and fairies, Barbie: Fairytopia is a technicolor surprise, bringing both the plucky heroine barbie fans are accustomed to and an amount of valor, new to the barbieverse.

Elina (Kelly Sheridan), a wingless fairy, is unsure what to think when she hears the news that the guardian of her realm has been kidnapped by Laverna (Kathleen Baar), an evil sorceress. Laverna is supposed to be a myth. Elina only begins to believe otherwise when a flying sickness befalls Fairytopia, weakening every flying creature in existence. Being the only fairy unaffected, it is soon up to Elina and her friends to outsmart Laverna and put an end to her plot to take over Fairytopia.

SUMMARY
A lovely soundtrack paired with an uncommon focus on female friendships, Barbie: Fairytopia encourages its audience to be both brave and open to caring about those around us—to treat strangers as the friends we haven’t met yet.
