Bernie (Kevin Hart) and Danny (Michael Ealy), two friends happily roughing it in life and love, are unprepared for the arrival of Debbie (Joy Bryant) and Joan (Regina Hall) in their world. While Joan is the perfect foil to Bernie’s gamy extroversion, Debbie is the perfect salve to Danny’s still-recovering heart. Both relationships soon ignite and implode, leaving all involved hurt, angry, and searching for the meaning of love–and the actions that back it up.
