A Goofy Movie (1995)

An unexpectedly heartfelt, moving and sincere father-son comedy.

Regan Humphrey

Max Goof (Jason Marsden) has one hope on the last day of school—to be noticed by his crush, Roxanne (Kellie Martin). To accomplish this, he pulls off the stunt of the century, impersonating international superstar Powerline (Tevin Campbell) at an all-school assembly. The escapade, while wildly successful, lands him in the principal’s office and results in a harrowing phone call to his dad, Goofy (Bill Farmer). Worried that his son is becoming a delinquent, Goofy decides to take the two of them on a last-minute father-son adventure—one that will rip Max away from his newfound popularity and burgeoning summer romance with Roxanne. For Max, the only way to preserve his social progress (and survive a road-trip with his dad) will be to pull off a stunt even bigger than the first—performing on stage at an actual Powerline concert with Powerline.
