After IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) captures Solomon Lane (Sean Harris), the mastermind behind the Syndicate, his disciples regroup into a smaller cell–The Apostles–bent continuing and completing Lane’s work at all costs. To prevent the Apostles from acquiring enough plutonium to denote three nuclear devices, with the help of his team, Ethan Hunt must impersonate an interested buyer and negotiate the plutonium for himself. A third of the world’s population hangs in the balance.
