After Preminger (Martin Short), advisor to the royal family, kidnaps Princess Anneliese (Kelly Sheridan) in a ploy for the crown, Erika (Kelly Sheridan), a pauper—and the princess’s doppelgänger—assumes her identity to keep the engagement of the princess to Dominick (Mark Hildreth), King of Delcenia, afloat. In the meantime, Julian (Alessandro Juliani), the princess’s personal tutor tries to unravel the mystery of her disappearance.
