In a SPECTRE plot to ransom NATO, operative Emilio Largo (Adolfo Celi) orchestrates the theft of two atomic weapons during a Royal Air Force training exercise. Agent 007 (Sean Connery) is deployed to find the stolen weapons and retrieve them before they can be used to decimate target cities in America and the United Kingdom. If Bond fails, the downfall of two cities, countless deaths, and a 100-million-pound ransom paid to SPECTRE will fall on his hands.
